What makes Spa Park Disc Golf Course special?
When I designed this course, I knew it had a special vibe. It was a great part of town that was visually stunning and there is dedicated community in Taupo that wanted to make this course happen.
What's your favourite hole?
I love playing Hole 10 down to the river, it keeps you honest with OB on both sides that funnels up to the hole. Treacherous bush on the river side, but the view is so special that you have to appreciate where you are when you play this course.
Any local tips?
Play this course in the evening in summer, it's cool and there's less people in the park. When you've finished, there's one of the best fish and chip places just up the road. Get a good piece of batter snapper.
